About me
I'm Anu, a personal trainer specialising in strength training for perimenopause.
I believe in teaching a way to exercise that is unique to our physiology - helping women feel strong, capable, and confident in all aspects of their lives.
I aim to revolutionize how women approach fitness and wellness, particularly during perimenopause and menopause. My goal is to empower women to embrace their strength, feel confident in their bodies, and navigate these life stages with resilience and vitality.
Anu Weir Wellness
My passion for fitness led me to pursue personal training studies, with a particular focus on women's wellness and female-specific training.
My Background
My journey to this career has been unique and diverse, shaping my approach to women's fitness and wellness.
In my youth, I first trained as a beauty therapist, which gave me valuable insights into self-
care and body awareness. Following this, I underwent military police training as a corporal.
While I didn't serve professionally, this experience taught me invaluable lessons about
teamwork, leadership, grit, and personal strength - tools that continue to influence my work
today.

Later in life, I expanded my expertise by earning an MBA degree, adding business acumen to
my skillset. My passion for fitness led me to pursue personal training studies, with a particular focus on women's wellness and female-specific training. I've made it my mission to empower women to feel confident in their bodies and in the gym environment by teaching exercise methods tailored to our unique physiology.
As a ph360 endorsed health coach, I offer personalized wellness guidance tailored to individual needs, ensuring a holistic approach to health and fitness. My commitment to supporting women extends beyond my training practice. I'm also an author, having created the Balance for Life - Guided Journal for Women, a resource designed to support women in achieving holistic well-being
In addition to my professional life, I'm a dedicated mother of three. This personal experience
has deepened my understanding of the challenges women face in balancing health, family,
and personal goals, allowing me to better connect with and support my clients through various life stages.

I'm always striving to expand my knowledge, and recently completed Dr. Stacy Sims' menopause course, further solidifying my expertise in women's health, particularly during menopause. I'm eager to share my extensive knowledge and insights to help women thrive during menopause and beyond, offering a unique blend of professional expertise and personal understanding.
One way I've chosen to share my knowledge is through smaller speaking events and my customised strength training programs for women. I'm passionate about creating intimate, impactful experiences for women to learn and grow. These smaller events allow me to connect more personally with participants, addressing specific concerns and questions about strength training and women's health.

My Learn to Lift program in particular, is designed to introduce women to the fundamentals of strength training in a supportive, empowering environment. Through these initiatives, I'm able to directly impact women's lives, helping them build confidence in their bodies and abilities.
Whether it's one-on-one training, through my writing, or guiding a group of women through a strength training program - I'm committed to spreading this empowering message and making a tangible difference in women's lives, one lift at a time.
